AttnSetter.io Cookie Consent Policy. Owned and operated by 3P Media (Owner: Positive People Posse, 3P Media, Kansas City, MO). Effective July 1, 2026 · Last Updated September 7, 2026. This policy applies to the AttnSetter.io marketing website and the AttnSetter platform dashboard and is governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States. Related documents: Privacy Policy · Terms of Service · Data Processing Addendum.
Section 1, Introduction
AttnSetter.io and all products operated under the AttnSetter brand are owned and operated by 3P Media (“AttnSetter,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Cookie Consent Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
This policy applies to:
- The AttnSetter.io marketing website and all associated landing pages
- The AttnSetter platform dashboard and all in-product features
- Any AttnSetter-owned or operated subdomain or web property
Section 2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to remember your settings. Alongside traditional cookies, we also use:
- Local storage, browser-based storage that persists data between sessions (we use it to remember your theme and cookie choice).
- Session storage, similar to local storage but cleared when the browser tab is closed.
Section 3, Cookies We Use
The table lists each cookie and storage item we use, what it is for, and how long it lasts. Essential (strictly-necessary) items are required for the site and platform to function and cannot be switched off. Analytics and advertising items are off until you accept them.
| Name / Technology | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session / authentication cookie (httpOnly) | Keeps you securely signed in to the AttnSetter platform and protects your session. Set only after you log in. | Essential | Session / until you log out |
as_theme (local storage) | Remembers whether you selected light or dark mode so the interface stays consistent. | Essential (preference) | Persistent until you clear it |
as_cookie_consent (local storage) | Records your cookie choice so we don’t re-prompt you on every visit. | Essential | Persistent until you clear it |
as_vid (local storage) | A random identifier for our own first-party site analytics, so repeat visits to AttnSetter.io count as one visitor. Not a cookie: it is never sent with requests to other sites. See Section 4.2. | Analytics (consent) | Until you clear it or withdraw consent, which deletes it |
_fbp, _fbc (cookies set by Meta) | Advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel. See Section 4.2. | Advertising (consent) | Up to 90 days, or deleted when you withdraw consent |
Functional cookies are not currently in use. The analytics and advertising items above are off by default and load only after you affirmatively accept them through the cookie banner. Should we add further analytics or marketing/retargeting tools in the future, we will list them here the same way, and this policy and the “Last updated” date will be revised before any such change takes effect.
Section 4, Detailed Description
4.1, Essential Cookies (in use today)
Essential cookies and storage are strictly necessary for the basic operation of AttnSetter.io and the AttnSetter platform dashboard. They enable:
- User authentication and session management, keeping you securely logged in across pages.
- Session security. Protecting your account while you are signed in.
- Interface preference, remembering your light/dark theme choice (
as_theme). - Consent record, remembering your cookie choice (
as_cookie_consent) so we do not re-prompt on every visit.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled through our banner. Blocking them at the browser level would prevent AttnSetter.io and the platform from functioning correctly, including your ability to sign in.
4.2, Analytics & Advertising Cookies
We use one analytics tool, and only if you accept it: our own first-party site analytics, the same Website Traffic feature we offer to customers, run on our own pages. When you choose “Accept all”, it records the pages you view on AttnSetter.io, the page title, the site that referred you, any campaign tags in the link you clicked, how long you stayed on each page, your country, and your browser and device type. That data is stored on our own servers and is not shared with any third party. It uses a random identifier held in your browser’s local storage (as_vid), not a cookie, so it cannot follow you to other websites. It also honors the Global Privacy Control browser signal: if your browser sends it, nothing is recorded.
We use one advertising cookie, and only if you accept it: the Meta Pixel (Facebook). When you choose “Accept all”, it loads and records that you visited a page on AttnSetter.io, so we can measure whether our advertising is reaching the right people. It sets Meta’s own cookies (including _fbp) and sends the page address and standard browser information to Meta.
Both stay off entirely until you accept, and we deliberately limit where they run: they never load on a personalised prospect page (the /m/ links your prospects receive), and they never load for signed-in customers using the platform. Analytics and advertising measurement apply to our public marketing pages only: never to your work inside AttnSetter, and never to the people you are contacting. If you later withdraw consent, both stop immediately and the identifiers they stored are deleted.
We do not load Google Analytics, live-chat, or any other third-party analytics or tracking cookies. If we adopt any such tool, we will describe it here and gate it behind your consent, and non-essential cookies will remain off until you opt in.
Section 5: Third-Party Cookies and Services
With your consent, Meta Platforms sets cookies through the Meta Pixel described in Section 4.2. You can review Meta’s privacy practices at facebook.com/privacy/policy. Separately, certain essential service providers may set their own cookies strictly to deliver a service you request, for example, Stripe may set cookies during checkout for payment security and fraud prevention. Where that applies, those cookies are essential to completing the transaction. You can review Stripe’s privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.
Section 6: Your Cookie Choices and Controls
6.1, AttnSetter Cookie Banner
When you first visit AttnSetter.io, our cookie banner gives you these options:
- Accept all. Consents to non-essential cookies and storage, which today means our first-party site analytics and the Meta Pixel described in Section 4.2. This choice also applies to any analytics/marketing cookies we may add later.
- Reject non-essential. Keeps only essential cookies active. Our site analytics never records your visit, the Meta Pixel is never loaded, and nothing about your visit is sent to Meta.
Your choice is saved to your browser’s local storage under the key as_cookie_consent and respected on future visits. You can reopen the banner and change your choice at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer of AttnSetter.io, or the button below.
6.2, Browser-Level Controls
You can also control cookies at the browser level. Most modern browsers allow you to:
- View, block, or delete all cookies stored by any website
- Block third-party cookies by default while allowing first-party cookies
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set
Please note that disabling cookies at the browser level may affect the functionality of AttnSetter.io and the AttnSetter platform, including your ability to log in and use core features. Instructions for managing cookies vary by browser, refer to your browser’s help documentation for specific steps.
6.3, Do Not Track
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. AttnSetter.io currently does not alter its data collection practices in response to DNT signals, as there is no universal standard for interpreting such signals. We do honor the newer Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal for our site analytics, which is a legally recognised opt-out in several US states. We will review this position as industry standards evolve.
Section 7, Cookie Retention Periods
The cookies and storage we set today are retained as follows:
| Item | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Session / authentication cookie | Cleared when you log out or your session expires. |
as_theme (theme preference) | Stored in local storage until you clear your browser data. |
as_cookie_consent (consent record) | Stored in local storage until you clear your browser data or change your choice. |
as_vid (site analytics identifier) | Stored in local storage until you clear your browser data or withdraw consent. Visit records on our servers are retained as described in the Privacy Policy. |
_fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel) | Up to 90 days, or deleted when you withdraw consent. |
Section 8, Legal Basis for Cookie Use
AttnSetter.io is operated from the United States and primarily serves US-based users. Our use of cookies is governed by applicable US law, including Kansas state law, and our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The essential cookies we use are necessary to provide the service you have requested (contractual necessity / strict necessity). The analytics and advertising items in Section 4.2 rely on your affirmative consent, obtained through the cookie banner, before they are set.
Section 9, Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Consent Policy from time to time as we add new features, integrations, or third-party services, or as applicable laws change. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the effective date at the top of this document
- Post the revised policy at AttnSetter.io/cookies
- Re-present the cookie consent banner so you have the opportunity to review and re-consent under the updated terms
- Where required by applicable law, provide advance notice of material changes
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of AttnSetter.io after an updated policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
